Mr Hefni is a senior Gynaecologist in the United Kingdom. He is a recognised preceptor by the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG) for providing training in advanced endoscopic surgery. He is a renowned teacher and vaginal surgeon who has trained more than 400 Gynaecologists in the UK and abroad in pelvic floor repair surgery & laparoscopy through his workshops in vaginal & laparoscopic surgery. He is the Head of the department of Gynaecology at Benenden Hospital, a centre for advanced endometriosis and vaginal pelvic floor surgery in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Ashok K. Hemal is internationally acclaimed for developing and conducting pioneering work in the field of Laparoscopic (minimally invasive) and Robotic urologic surgery.
  • Worked in Henry Ford hospital, Detroit, USA as a visiting professor and international scholar over 2 years
  • Established laparoscopic and robotic programs in other centers in USA, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia and Thailand.
  • Past President of the Urology Society of India (North Zone)
  • Performed first Robotic Radical prostatectomy for cancer prostate at AIIMS.
  • Awards: Dr. BC Roy National award, Urologist of the Decade award, International Guest Scholar of the American College of Surgeons, SIU, Padma-Shri in 2007.

Mr Mehra is a senior clinical fellow in the United Kingdom. Having graduated from India, he undertook his postgraduate training in the United Kingdom. He has been a senior fellow in MAS at Royal Surrey County Hospital (Minimal Access Therapy Training unit; Guildford) and then at the centre for MAS & Advanced Vaginal Surgery at Benenden Hospital. Presently he is based in London at the Cancer Centre (St Bartholomew’s Hospital) as a fellow in Gynaecological Oncology.
